OtterBoxIsla Mujeres is one of the ten municipalities of the Mexican state of Quintana Roo. The municipality, located in the northeastern corner of the state is mostly on the mainland and has a municipal seat of the same name; Isla Mujeres. The municipal seat is a small island town a short distance off the northeast coast of the Yucatán Peninsula in the Caribbean Sea about 8.1 miles northeast of Cancún. The island is some 4.3 miles long and 2,130 feet wide.
Ferry boats run from the island and Puerto Juárez or Gran Puerto on the mainland. There are numerous places to eat fresh seafood cooked with local and traditional delicious recipes; also many other types of food are available at restaurants on the island such as: black angus steaks, Mexican, Yucatecan, Italian, Caribbean, Mediterranean, Hebrew, French, Thai, Cuban and Maya. On the east is the Caribbean Sea with a strong surf and rocky coast and on the west the skyline of Cancún is seen across the clear waters. On the north end is El Centro whose central axis, Hidalgo Street, is the main dining and entertainment area. Also located on the north end is a famous beach called Playa Norte, which has recovered quickly since Hurricane Wilma hit the area in 2005.

Just follow the following Do's & Don'ts if you want to make that Tropical Location Vacation of yours an affair to remember.
Do start planning well in advance. Get online, research and find out the best tropical location that suits with your idea of having a good time. Scout online for best locales, shopping centers, eateries, things to do once there, etc.
Don't let just one person be in charge of all the planning. Involve the entire family in planning that dream tropical vacation of yours.
Do take services of a travel agent. He / She can definitely get you the best deals on offers, help you with the paper work (passport, visa, etc) and make that experience of taking a tropical vacation completely stress free.
Don't splurge money on unimportant things like shopping and collecting souvenirs for folks back home. Fix a budget and stick to it.
And most important of all the things you do for a tropical location vacation: DON'T FORGET THE CAMERA!!!

These packages are modeled after boot camps, where participants are up at the crack of dawn doing hours of grueling workouts on the beach every morning. As such these trips really cater to "fitness fanatics" who want their vacations to be very active. The founder of the company Getaway Fitness that organizes the fitness vacations said that her goal was to combine luxury travel with a grueling workout. She said that people are interested in these trips for different reasons. Some want to get in shape, others are looking for a motivational boost to change their lives after going through a difficult experience.
